Carve a Jack-O-Lantern
Make it a
Family Project.

Turn a pumpkin on it's side and
use the stem for a nose.

Put smaller pumpkins inside of
large ones. This example has three jack-o-lanterns in one.

Laugh! Help one another.

Take a photo of your "pride and
joy" jack-o-lantern.

A Pumpkin Carving
Party
What
used to be fun has entered the danger zone. Here are some
alternatives to the traditional trick or treating activities.
The
most common option is a child's party held at home or in a
safe setting with a group of some kind.
At
our home we have an annual "Worm and Eyeballs"
Dinner and Pumpkin Carving. Dinner is spaghetti with stuffed
olives on the side. We invite several families--parents and
children. After our silly dinner, the table is cleared,
covered with disposable plastic tablecloths and the carving
begins. It's a great time for families to have fun together.
Everyone takes their pumpkin home to enjoy.
