Gertie's Christmas Magic is a children's story you might relish on the pages of a holiday magazine. Full of nostalgia and Christmas spirit, it will leave you with that wonderful warm Christmas feeling.

The story covers seven generations of holiday traditions with a little Christmas magic and a special rag doll playing in between.

Illustrations by Kas Winters bring the story to life from before the turn of the century to present day.

Name:

The Book Dedication

This book is dedicated to my 89 year old mother, Helen Spies. Even though this book was born in my imagination, the names and memories are a real part of my life. My maternal grandparents names were Gertie and Edmond. I imagine my grandmother would have been much like Gertie when she was a girl. I sincerely hope that something is this book stirs a Christmas memory for you, something that you may have forgotten or tucked into the cobwebs of an attic somewhere. Travel back with me and remember the joy of Christmas when you were very young.
