Here's something a little different for a
wedding sendoff or welcome when the couple arrives at the
reception. Give everyone a kazoo and have them play "Here
comes the Bride" or another tune that everyone would be
likely to know.

all kinds of family memorabilia. Set it up on a table for
everyone to enjoy. Look at the pictures. Listen to the family
stories. Reminisce. Laugh and cry together. Celebrate the
lives of those who are celebrating an anniversary. Make it
special. Make it fun. Make it memorable.
Graduation is an "earned
celebration". Plan the event so that the graduate feels there
is some recognition of all that effort. Write a letter of
congratulations with acknowledgement of the hard work it took
to achieve success. Make a big deal of the celebration. Take a
lot of photographs and record some family history.
GIFTS FOR THE GRADUATE
Whether you have a family member who is graduating from kindergarten,
elementary school, middle school, high school, trade school, college or
a university... celebrate! Share the joy and recognize their
accomplishment. Send a card. Give a gift. Have a party. Sit in the
audience and applaud. Bake a cake and have a great time together.
Find ways to make the graduate feel proud of their accomplishment. Make
a scrapbook of highlights leading up to graduation. Write a letter that
tells why you think the graduate is a special individual. Frame a
collage of photographs that tell a story for the graduate. Give a high
school or college graduate a gift that has a special meaning, such as a
family heirloom or an item that belonged to a grandparent or family
member. Tell them that you are proud. It needs to be said and heard, not
